Stephanie Escobar
M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Stephanie Escobar is a bilingual certified Speech-Language Pathologist who graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 2019. She is the Clinical Site Director at the Zaragoza location and specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), with a focus on Gestalt language processing and literacy-based intervention.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has worked in both school and private settings, providing compassionate and evidence-based care to children with autism, early language delays, developmental disabilities, articulation, and language difficulties. She has dedicated countless hours to professional development, continually refining her skills to better serve her patients and community.
Stephanie is passionate about creating adapted books in both English and Spanish to foster positive literacy experiences and loves to incorporate child-led therapy in her sessions, ensuring that each child’s unique needs and interests are at the heart of their communication journey.
Patrick Ramirez
Office Manager

Patrick Ramirez is the Office Manager at New Beginnings Pediatric Therapy Services at Zaragoza, where he manages daily office operations and ensures a seamless workflow. His responsibilities include overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating with various departments, and optimizing processes to maintain high standards of efficiency and quality.
Patrick is deeply committed to upholding excellence in his work and takes pride in creating an organized and productive environment for the team and clients.
Outside of work, Patrick is actively involved in the local performing arts scene in the Sun City, particularly with marching bands and color guards. This engagement allows him to combine his appreciation for the arts with community involvement, enriching both his personal and professional life.
Monica Padilla
Biller / Account Specialist

Monica was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She graduated with her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Coding and Billing Systems from Southwest University in El Paso, Texas, in September of 2020 and is an AAPC Certified Professional Coder. She has been a bilingual Biller/Account Specialist for New Beginnings Pediatric Therapy Services since April 2021.
Since joining New Beginnings, Monica has gained knowledge of most aspects of the practice, including medical billing, insurance verification, and numerous other administrative tasks. In her free time, Monica enjoys baking and spending time with her family.
Toni Baylon
Administrative Assistant
Office Staff
Toni Baylon is an Administrative Assistant at New Beginnings Pediatric Therapy Service. In this role, she focuses on delivering top-notch patient care and managing the process for therapy authorizations. Her goal is to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently so that the pediatric therapy programs can provide the best care possible.
She takes pride in her organizational skills and attention to detail, which help her handle a variety of tasks effectively. Toni is always looking for ways to streamline processes and support both clients and the team.
Outside of work, Toni is often found enjoying time on her motorcycle. Working on her bike is a passion of hers and reflects her love for hands-on challenges and continuous learning, qualities that she also brings into her professional life.
Shekinah Velasquez
Administrative Assistant

Shekinah Velasquez is one of the Administrative Assistants at our Zaragoza location, where she assists with daily office tasks to ensure well-organized workdays. Her responsibilities include updating patient files and registration and assisting co-workers, patients, and managers to provide a good experience here at New Beginnings.
Shekinah is dedicated to showing greatness and hard work at New Beginnings and in her personal life. She displays respect and kindness to her team and patients, which creates a great environment.
Since working here, it has influenced Shekinah to pursue her education in the therapy field. She is currently studying at the University of El Paso to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. She hopes to continue her studies and work alongside great therapists here in El Paso.
Outside of work, Shekinah is greatly involved in the performing arts in the Sun City and other places. She is passionate about teaching and wishes to share her appreciation and education for the marching arts with many young kids, including those that she teaches. She is also passionate about her own performing career, as she has marched in many groups. This allows her to share her love and knowledge of the arts in all aspects of her life.
