This grant is a core project of The Seeds of Success Initiative, a New Beginnings program dedicated to giving back to the community by Planting Resources to support Growing Potential in local children and families.

The initiative is proudly dedicated to the enduring legacy and ongoing vision of New Beginnings Pediatric Therapy founder, Monica Contreras-Tullius. Her unwavering commitment to making high-quality therapeutic resources accessible to the El Paso community and surrounding areas is the inspiration that drives The Seeds of Success Initiative.

The goal of the Sensory Space Grant is to sponsor the creation of a sensory room, nook, or wall within a local community facility. We aim to provide a valuable, calming, and therapeutic resource to the public, ensuring that more community spaces can support developmental success.

What the Grant Provides

The grant recipient will receive more than just funding; they will gain the full, hands-on support of the New Beginnings team. The award includes:

• Materials Funding: Up to $2,500 provided for the purchase of materials, equipment, and supplies needed to construct the sensory space.
• Expert Design & Implementation Support: Our experienced administrators and licensed therapists will collaborate directly with the grant winner. We will guide you through every phase—designing the space, offering assistance during the build, and providing insight on how to best implement the sensory spot as a resource for your community.

Who is Eligible?

We are seeking to partner with organizations that serve the public and can offer a permanent, accessible location for the sensory space.

Eligible applicants include:

• Public Schools (P-12)
• Public Libraries
• YMCAs
• Community Centers
• College Training Programs (e.g., early childhood development, education, or therapy programs)
• Must not be a private business
• Must be a government entity or non-profit
• Must not have a sensory space already
• Must allow us to promote our business through a permanent dedication plaque, informational marketing materials and other channels to acknowledge our contribution
• Must be within a 300 mile radius of El Paso
