New Beginnings has selected Christine Ramirez Adame as our Therapist of the Year for 2020! Christine has been with New Beginnings for the past 7.5 years. In that time, she has made a big impact in the lives of many El Paso children and has embodied the high ideals New Beginnings has in fulfilling its mission.

Christine has eagerly taken on new patients and has worked tirelessly to help each and everyone achieve their individual goals. During the beginning months of covid, Christine helped us seamlessly add telehealth to our services. Christine is a team player, a leader, and a very vital member of our New Beginnings Team!

About Christine

Christine is a bilingual Certified Speech-Language Pathologist who has treated children diagnosed with ASD, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Tongue Thrusts, and Food Aversions. Christine received her Bachelor of Science at Baylor University and furthered her academic career at the University of Texas at El Paso where she received her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. Christine is currently serving as the Location Clinical Director at our Far East New Beginnings Pediatric Speech Therapy Services office.

She became interested in speech language pathology at an early age when a family member required speech therapy services. She is also very interested in Tethered Oral Tissues (TOT’s) and the long term affects they can cause for posture, breast feeding, chewing, sleeping, and breathing. Christine received her training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders at the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT) in Los Angeles, Ca.
